After the success of the first pieces of the collection, Ginger & Jagger invites us again in 2013 to design another series of products in order to continue the project. So then comes Nenuphar which started from the simple observation that very often low tables tend to occupy the prime areas in living spaces: between the sofa and fireplace. They often sit on beautiful floors or carpets and effectively obscure them. It was an interesting proposition to address this observation and design a table in which the decomposition of the top in three uneven surfaces with different heights in order to provide lightness almost floating surfaces which were kept in place by a structure for the three legs.

The table gently floats on the surface with different cascading tops that create a chromatic effect. The brass and crystal acrylic feet maintain the floating illusion, while providing a playful contrast with the inlay marquetry technique and lacquered top.
