Ananaz
— Ginger & Jagger
The Ananaz side tables are made from two basic elements. A frame that is assembled from several small pieces of bended metal in the shape of arches, which all together make a solid structure, and a simple and round table top. Its in these elements that we can understand the genesis of the idea behind the design.
Pedro pictured Ananaz literally like a voluptuous pineapple fruit. The designer wanted it to imitate the organic texture of a pineapple so he reinterpreted these elements in a tridimensional and geometrical pattern to obtain a subtle dance between light and shadow, opacity and transparency.
