Pebble

— Ginger & Jagger

Ginger & Jagger commissioned Pedro to create not only their first collection but a collection that in a way was the motive for the whole brand and everything that surrounded it.

Therefore, the story of these stools is a significant one for Pedro. It was the first piece of furniture that he designed for the brand and very quickly the entire collection was thought about. This idea came to mind during one of his hobbies. This is clear evidence that a designer permanently works twenty-four hours a day, especially when least expected, during one of his wild hiking tours.

Pedro doesn’t remember exactly when and how, but he recalls that at one point he had an idea of stacking pebbles, similar to those found on mountain tops. This idea began to take shape. He became more and more obsessed with it and it made more and more sense. He had to do something even though he didn't know exactly what.

A few weeks later, Pebble appeared in a wooden sandwich with metal (Hammered Brass or Hammered Copper) in the middle, treated solid Brazilian Cedar Wood on top and Chestnut Wood on the bottom.
